How many hours per month do I need for online tutoring?
The typical online tutoring session can be about 30 minutes long. You can schedule weekly online tutoring packages. See our "Schedule an Online Session" page. If you have a learning/tutoring plan, you should adhere to the recommended weekly/monthly tutoring recommendations.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. You just fill out a registration form (one-time non-refundable $20 fee). Our registration form contains information that will help us determine how to serve you best. You book sessions (schedule) when you want lessons, and you can stop lessons whenever you want to. We just ask that you communicate with us. If you're on a learning/tutoring plan, from our diagnostic assessment, then it's best to stick to your learning plan to maximize your skills.

After 10 minutes/15 minutes, we will cancel the session. Your lateness may interfere with other sessions. There are no refunds for missed sessions, so try to be on time.
Can more than one person be tutored at the same time in a session?
It depends, but this rarely happens or is encouraged with our service. However, if it's the same subject area/skill, then more than more person can share a session (group session), but the price will be the same for each person. However, we strongly advocate individualized sessions.

What is your tutoring approach?
We deal with each client on an individual basis. Our approach depends on each client's needs and learning style (coaching). We communicate with the client (parent if the client is under 18) to assess strengths and areas for improvement. Our tutors fill-out a Tutor/Tutee Evaluation Form after every session. If a diagnostic assessment is conducted (based on client's request), we develop a learning/tutoring plan.
What is a diagnostic assessment?
A diagnostic assessment is used to measure strengths, weaknesses, knowledge, and skills. We use diagnostic assessments (by request) to develop a learning/tutoring plan.
What are the qualifications of your tutors?
Our tutors are college graduates, teachers, professors, or retired teachers. All of our tutors are hired based on teaching/tutoring experience, subject expertise assessments, and a successfully passed background check (for tutoring school-aged students). We also provide training for tutors.
What other services do you offer?
We offer various services such as professional development/training, afterschool programming, STEM/STEAM program, and curriculum and writing services.
